General Food Distribution Program

In November 2022, the Human Resource Development Program (HRDP), in collaboration with non-state actors, implemented a General Food Distribution initiative to combat food insecurity in underserved communities of Killa Abdullah. The program aimed to deliver essential food items to families facing economic hardship, displacement, or post-crisis circumstances. The program began with vulnerability assessments through community focal points. Essential food items—flour, lentils, oil, rice, salt, sugar, and tea—were procured and packed. Distribution was conducted over multiple days to manage large crowds and ensure dignity in service. Beneficiaries were verified using a manual registry system and provided tokens.

Housing Reconstruction Shelter Project

In response to displacement and housing destruction due to natural disasters, HRDP supported 25 vulnerable households in Mastung with safe and dignified housing reconstruction. HRDP coordinated technical assessments, collaborated with local masons, and supplied roofing, insulation, and construction materials. Families contributed labor. Basic WASH (water, sanitation, hygiene) units were also installed.
